Biography & Filmography
Dahci Ma is a South Korean director. She started filmmaking right after dropping out of junior high school at the age of 14. Nevertheless (2005) she made when she was 18 was invited to various international film festivals and another short piece she made at 21, The Mysteries of Nature (2008) was awarded at Lincoln Center in New York as the youngest director ever to receive the award. In 2011, her fifth short film Ghost was selected for the 64th Festival de Cannes. Dahci Ma has a broad perspective as a director, which she gained based on the experiences of working in various genres and styles of film.
